757 Community Fridges

We are a local affinity group with the goal of providing accessible locations where people can take what they need and give what they can. Community fridges are maintained and filled by the community. Community fridges are an aspect of mutual aid. Mutual aid is about spreading resources around that  with the only goal being to provide community care and support. For the community, by the community. 757CF is not a non-profit or business but rather individuals that help cultivate a space for those resources to be spread. 

We established our first location at the end of March 2021. It is open 24/7 and is located at Mea Culpa Cafe @ 2410 Colonial Ave., Norfolk, VA 23517. The money that has been given has helped get the fridge, decorate the fridge and move the fridge. Furthermore, the money that is given to this gofundme provides the ability to purchase items in bulk that allow for the fridge to be consistently supplemented on a daily or every other day basis (depends on need).
