Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary
The Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary is a small rustic place run by Paul & Tracey Hunt and a small band of volunteers, whose aim is to give ex working, abused and unwanted donkeys a life long home. It provides a place of peace for people from all parts of the community to visit, enabling therapy, education and magical interaction with the donkeys.
During March, due to the Covid-19 lockdown the sanctuaries vital income streams have dried up with no more open days, nursing home therapy visits, attending shows, events, Palm Sunday parades etc.
This poses a real threat to the future of the sanctuary and we now find ourselves in urgent need of help to provide for the animals daily needs, food and medical attention.
In these very difficult times for us all we are looking to anyone who is able to help us keep these amazing animals in this wonderful place afloat over the next few months so we can all continue to enjoy the sanctuary for years come.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports us, we sincerely appreciate your help.
Paul & Tracey Hunt and all the donkeys.
