Escape from Gaza: Hadi's Story

My name is Hadi Soboh. Just a few weeks ago, I was a pharmacist, taking care of my family and our community. Now, the world I knew is gone. The war tore through Gaza, bombs raining down and shattering everything. Our house, my pharmacy - all reduced to rubble. We barely escaped with our lives.

The worst pain? This war stole precious family members from us. Their absence cuts deep. But amidst the wreckage, two lives depend on me: my wife, carrying our unborn child, and my mother needs care because the war exhausted her.

Here in Gaza, with constant blackouts, barely a drop of clean water, and hospitals overwhelmed, even basic care feels impossible. Every day is a struggle to find food and water, a constant battle against despair.

But I cling to a dream: escaping this warzone. A safe place for my wife to deliver our baby. Proper medical care for my mother. A chance to rebuild our lives.

The escape route comes at a steep price. We need roughly $5,000 each to cover paperwork, transportation, and crossing the border to Rafah.

Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to that dream. Closer to a future where my family can heal, where my wife can give birth safely, and where my mother can get the rest she deserves.
