76 YEAR OLD KEN CYCLED 3000 MILES FOR PACHAMAMA
76-year-old Ken Okines cycled 3,000 miles this year to raise funds for us. The Pachamama Project manages a network of volunteers making reusable sanitary pads that we send to refugees and vulnerable people around the world. Since our launch in August 2020, we have sent out over 100,000 pads, taking 13,000 people out of period poverty for up to five years. Last year we spent over £3,000 on shipping and postage which is why we have set this as our target. We rely on donations to cover all our costs. Huge thanks to Ken and also to his wife, Barbie, who is a fabulous Pachamama volunteer.
