Help Thomas On His Road To Recovery
Donation protected
Update: 1/6/2022
As of yesterday, Thomas's brain swelling finally stayed down enough to where they could get him in for surgery on the broken bone that was protruding from his leg. That surgery went well. They've since kept him off sedation. At around 2am we received a call from the hospital nurse stating he started to open his eyes and do some small commands. This is news we've all been waiting to hear! Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and donate if you're able. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
New Year's Eve my 23 year old brother Thomas was in a terrible accident. He is the greatest brother, son, uncle, and friend that a person could ask for. Any time our family or friends need anything, he doesn't hesitate to step up and help. Thomas is also the type of guy that wouldn't hesitate to help a stranger on the side of the road. He is kind, hard working, loves to restore square bodies and jeeps, and loves the outdoors. When he's not at work, he's always tinkering on something. He is not one to sit still, even after a long day in excavation. Our father has MS and is limited as to what he can do these days, but my brother Thomas tries very hard to make sure he is still able to do things he enjoys. He spent the entire Summer under the hood of our father's Jeep so our father could go and enjoy himself. He doesn't let our father very far out of his sight. He cherishes every moment with his family and friends. He's also quite the jokester, especially when it comes to our mother that he loves dearly! He is always putting others before himself, and now he could truly use our support. Thomas is currently in Grand Rapids in the ICU under sedation. The accident caused a small bleed on his brain that has in return caused swelling. He has also suffered several broken bones throughout his body from the accident. We're taking it day-by-day and keeping our vibes and thoughts positive only. We're asking for donations, a lot of prayers, and good healing vibes to help him financially and spiritually throughout his recovery.
