Help our mom with the loss of our dad❤️

As many of you know, and watched as things unfolded - My dad had passed away at the young age of 53 on July 8th 2023—Due to a lung disease that progressed way quicker than the doctors had thought possible…

It hasn’t even been a year since we found out something was terribly wrong, and we didn’t have a diagnosis until only about 7 months ago. Robert Edwin Turpin (My father) was a dedicated hunter. He loved the outdoors. Always hiking, fishing, wheeling, etc. He was into fitness, always active! This last year we watched him struggle to live the life he knew and loved. He would go hunting with a large oxygen tank, but hardly would make it 20 yards. It broke our hearts watching him go through these struggles, but we held onto hope. Hope he would get a lung transplant. Unfortunately the disease got the best of him… he would always say “I’m gonna beat this.”

It has affected his children deeply. He left behind 5 kids who loved him dearly — he was our world. He also left behind his mother, and siblings. But, the one who has been most affected by his passing is my mom. He left behind his sweetheart - the love of his life. The one who has been by his side for 30+ years.

If the pain and hole in my moms heart wasn’t enough…. She has recently found out that she will not be getting any life insurance from our tragic loss.

The burden of grief is so much to take on, let alone trying to pay off large medical bills that have accumulated this past year, mortgage, and monthly costs.

My mom has worked her whole life. At times she would work graveyards, other times she would work 2 jobs to make sure her family was cared for.

I wish I was able to financially help my mom myself, but unfortunately I am unable to do so.
