Nasuti Family Fund

Hello, my name is Nicole Akers & I’m starting this fund for my beloved sister, Kenda Nasuti & her family, who live in OH.

As many are aware, my sister Kenda has been in the hospital since Thursday, July 5th. She will be being discharged tomorrow July 10th. However she is returning for surgery on Monday, July 23rd to remove a mass in her colon, dissecting out a bad section & to put her bowels back together.  She will also require a further surgery down the road. We are still awaiting crucial test results from biopsies taken from the mass last week during an endoscopic procedure. Until we know those results her official diagnosis is unclear right now.

It is possible that Kenda will require further treatment 6 weeks after her surgery, based on biopsy results.

With the medical costs that will be soon adding up for their out of pocket medical expenses, I am creating this fund to start getting her family a nice cushion to have on hand. Her husband has been by her side since last week. I travelled to be there last week for 4 days & will be driving back again very soon on my days off again. As many know, Kenda is a kindergarten school aide for special needs children, and more than likely will need to be off for an extended time until this journey is behind her, not allowing her to return yet when school starts back up. Her husband Gered also may require future time off as well & he does not have much vacation time on hand.

We are here to help her & her family in any way that we can. These funds can be used for medical expenses, medical supplies, gas money to and from the hospital, for time lost from work for my sister & her husband, or anything else they will need to continue making ends meet for them.
