Funeral Expenses

Hello,

My name is Sarah, I am the wife of Gary Arnold and the mother to four special needs teenagers. I am creating this gofundme account because back in April of this year my husband was diagnosed with aggressive ALS, I am looking to raise funds to pay for his funeral which is quickly approaching. Unfortunately he canceled his life insurance years ago.

A bit about Gary. He was a paramedic for 30 years working for BCAS and when Christmas rolled around his inner Santa Cluse shone through brighter then any Christmas light out there. He brought Christmas cheer and smiles to hundreds of children and adults alike. Even putting Christmas spirit back into some adults who just weren't feeling it, he never rushed anyone and always encouraged each child or adult to take their time and not to forget to enjoy the music and light display. This past Christmas I joined him as the Grinch! We had such a great time spreading cheer, watching faces light up, smiles glowing, handing out gently used toys and book, listening to laughter, handing out dog treats and Christmas bandanas and of course candy cane's. I will miss our cold and sometimes wet evenings outside together, but I will cherish the memories of them forever. Christmas at 2702 12th Ave will never be the same again.
