Dominican Republic mission trip

The St. Louis Warriors 13U baseball team is traveling to the Dominican Republic November 9-16, 2024. Over the past several years, the Warriors organization has partnered with GO Ministries, sending 13U teams to serve alongside local pastors, coaches, and community leaders in the DR. The boys help with feeding programs, Bible studies, and building projects. As is the case with so many mission opportunities like this, the week-long trip will certainly provide these young men, coaches, and families with opportunities to deepen their own faith and commitment to serving God and others.

One of our Warriors’ coaches recently wrote and recorded the song above along with a music video that gets at the heart of the impact youth sports–and the role of coaches in particular–can have in young people’s lives. He said, “Several coaches played a pivotal role in my life when I was a young boy growing up without a dad. These men taught me to love baseball and to love being part of a team, how to practice hard, how to win together, and how to accept defeat without being defeated. These men regularly told me they loved me, and that made a huge difference in my life.”
