Help John kick cancer’s….!!!
WHERE TO EVEN START?!
On May 11th, our best guy, John, was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. That’s right. Hard pill to swallow, isn’t it? I still don’t think it seems real to any of us.
Over the past few months, John and Kelly have been slapped with hardship after hardship. A few months back, John was also diagnosed with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Clearly, he’s trying to rack up as many diagnoses as possible to show off.
John will be out of work for the foreseeable future with a plan of receiving both chemotherapy and radiation over the next 9 months. This is in addition to any possible surgeries that will come down the road. John and Kelly also have two little adorable sons that they are trying to support through this journey, Jake (5 years old) and JJ (1.5 years old). Needless to say, this is going to place a HUGE financial strain on John and his family.
It’s the biggest hope that this gofundme page can be a place where we can all come together to help support John and his family through the financial and emotional journey that they are about to fight. Anyone who knows John knows that he is the first person to lend a helping hand and the last person on earth to ask for any type of help.
John’s sister, Claudia, is a Nurse Practitioner for Mayo Clinic, who also just happens to work in Oncology. (She’s definitely the smartest one of the group and has beena HUGE wealth of information and support throughout this entire process thus far). Claudia has started a journal where you can follow John’s journey and get regular updates as to how he is doing and his plan of care! I will link the site to his Caring Bridge journal in an ease to have one access point of information for updates!
