Help Phil fight cancer

Hello, I am Phil’s mother-in-law. I am setting up this Gofundme page to help him, his wife (my daughter), and their 11-year-old twins raise funds to support them financially whilst Phil is chronically ill with cancer.

Phil has served in the British Army for 26 years, both in the regular and reserves. He is currently the Company Serjeant Major with D Company, 6 Rifles.

Saturday 7th September - update:

Phil was allowed home for 4 nights this week for some respite care with his family, but also to prepare him mentally and physically for approximately 6 weeks of inpatient, extremely intensive chemotherapy.

The consultant has informed my daughter and Phil that this is an exceedingly aggressive type of blood cancer and so they must fight it with tough treatment.

It will be a very difficult time for Phil. However, his wife, my daughter Demi, their children Aether and Ostara, plus close friends continue to give him support and visit him regularly. Also, close members of both families are keeping in constant touch.
