Lenard Mason, worked for the Department of Defense, assigned to Defense Security Service (DSS) as a Industrial Security Representative in the Sunnyvale Field Office, Sunnyvale CA. He started with DSS in Sept 2006.
He succumbs to a long term illness on 17 Sep 2015 at the VA hospital.
Lenard was born in Germany, where he grew up and graduate from high school and college. He spoke fluid German and France.
Lenard was a very proud man with high morals, standards, and we all knew he was a very private person. Everyone didn't know about his illness and that was his choice.
Lenard was a single parent, were he's survived by his mother and two daughters (Julia/Helena Mason) whom he cared for in the San Jose area.
The oldest daughter Julia (20) is attending Sacramento State University and youngest daughter Helena (19) will be attending Junior College in the Sacramento area this coming year.
Instead of flowers, we're requesting donations to assist with the cost of the memorial service.
