Last night a special person was lost. Timothy Kohlheim was only 36 years old. He left behind 2 beautiful little girls and a wonderful wife. This man was one of kind no matter what someone needed he would come up with this well thought out plan with in minutes no matter how complex or simple it was to pull off he would perfect it and always have a success. Whether it was helping a sick friend make it to the top of old Barney or plan something like the house tour with the pto. This man was willing to do anything for this amazing community we call home. For the few years I know him he was simply amazing with all the good he had with in him. We would start in April of every year to get Surf City ready for the crazy summer months and he would go none stop till October working everyday for his family and keep two local businesses running. In the middle he would still find ways to help people who were suffering from a illness. He never ever complained about what he did and loved every minute of. From what I read today I missed a lot of years with him. The outpouring of comments on the internet is amazing this man was truly loved by all. His beautiful wife is still in shock and I don’t even know if she would need this but they have two beautiful young girls who call me uncle and anything could help. If this tragedy happened to my family he would 100 percent do the same. Tim and Sam are the back bone of Shore Fire Grille. Tim working everyday and Sam raising these girls while working everyday. From what I know it’s gonna take 3 people to replace that man, or as he would tell me no one could replace him no matter how many. With this being said it’s only been 10 hours and for only knowing him 7 years I have a huge hole in my life and it sucks. I feel like I was cheated for only having the amount of time that I did know him. There is 2 friends I talk to the most. One is a friend of 30 years and Tim, and I’m unsure who I talked to more. Just know this man will be missed by all. Sam be strong and know we all are here for you and love ya.
I miss you man.
