I’m running a half marathon!

Hello everyone,

On the 1st September I will be running The Big Half London half marathon. I have decided to run and raise money in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society.

One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. The Alzheimer’s Society helps give care and support to people who are suffering with Dementia and their families, whilst also researching ways to stop this horrible disease.

Several years ago my Nan got diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and as a family we have seen her mind deteriorate over time. It is hard to see how much Dementia can change lives. No one should have to go through Dementia alone which is why I’m hoping to raise £250 for this charity to help the great work and research they do.
