Candace English Rememberance Fund

On the date of Saturday April 2nd, an unexpected tragedy occured. Candace LeeAnn English was discovered on the floor of her bathroom, unconscious and bleeding, by her grandaughter Jessica after she heard a suspicious sound. Alerted by Jessica's screams, Candace's husband Bob and grandson Dustin ran to see the terrifying sight. While Bob and Jessica began calling 911 and family members, Dustin bravely performed chest compressions until the police and ambulance arrived. Candace was eventually taken to the John Muir hospital where she was diagnosed with a severe brain aneurysm that had lead to a stroke and cardiac arrest, having been revived through CPR. All of her family and friends were contacted. Her sister Leslie, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Brian, and grandkids Madison and Riley immediatly drove down from Southern Oregon to support and see Candace and the rest of the family in their time of need. Family from Illinois also began the 32 hour drive,  and others their flight plans so the entire family could be together. After spending the night in the Neuro waiting room lounge chairs for two nights, with little sleep and endless tears, flashbacks, anxiety attacks, and hoping, despite the best efforts of the family and doctors, Candace was legally pronounced brain dead on April 4th at 3:03pm, at the age of 65. Based on the type of life Candace lived her family made the difficult decision to have her be an organ donor, so through this tragedy their could be the possibility of giving the gift of life to another family in need.
Candace was a healthy and active woman, and main provider for her household as a Dental Assistant. She was a dearly beloved wife, mother, sister, grammy, great-grammy, co-worker, friend, and overall amazing human being. She was the most selfless and caring person, always wanting to help and cherish others and their needs. She gave so much to all those around her, and her family and friends are beyond grief stricken. She made the world a better place. She leaves behind two daughters (Michelle and Kimberly,) four grandchildren (Dustin, Jessica, Madison and Riley,) one great-grandson (Kaedon), a sister and brother (Leslie and Brian,) and husband Robert English of over 45 years, along with many other family and friends. Candace would often be described as the life force, or glue of the family. Her family will miss her smile, her laugh, and both the small and big things she did that made her, her.
"Grammy won't be able to smell me after my bathes anymore. Why did she have to die? I miss her." "My heart is broken because grammy is gone." - Great-grandson Kaedon, age 5. Kaedon and Candace had an especially close bond and we're inseparable, this loss so hard and confusing for the baby of the family.

On top of the horrific pain of losing an extremely important loved one, her family is now left with the burden of hospital bills, cremation and service expenses, and the uncertainty of how to manage the future household necessities. This Go Fund Me was created in hopes the hearts of others can help lessen this devestated families monetary worries. The family also wants to thank all those who prayed and sent their love and hope to Candace and her family since the incident began.
