Please help me save my Baby

Hello, my name is Doris and Cookie is my 10-year-old chihuahua. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old, she is my life. She got attacked by a pit bull. I took her to a local vet in the small town I'm currently in and he sewed her up, he did not do any imaging studies or anything. The area he stitched did not close properly because it turns out she has a fractured femur close to her hip. She needs extensive treatment and surgery to recover. We lost so much due to Hurricane Ian and financial struggles so we had to move in with family. It has been extremely difficult, mentally, emotionally, and physically. And now my poor baby is fighting for her life. Any animal lover knows the pain I am going through, they might not be our human children, but they are close as it gets.
