Help a Black Elder Get Central Heat and Cooling

In April 2020, a black elder/mother of three adopted children suffered an eye stroke that left her profoundly blind in one eye.

Both the underlying condition that caused the stroke and the medical treatments to manage the condition, such as chemotherapy, are chronic and disabling.

This has been worsened by a lack of central air and heating which have adversely affected her health and is financially unsustainable.

The donation will be going towards upgrading to a modern HVAC system to alleviate the financial and physical strain as well as the negative health effects of alternatives such as kerosene heaters, pellet stoves, and window AC units. Any excess funds will go towards family expenses such as food and house payments.
