Hello world, I am Sondos, a Palestinian

citizen from Gaza. I am 22 years old. In fact, I have never left Gaza in my life. I don't know anything outside the borders of this small town. I have lived through all the wars. Every time we escaped with minor damage, but this war was the most violent. I lost many of my relatives and friends, my city and university were completely destroyed, and my father lost our source of livelihood at the beginning of the war. We survived an attempt to target our home and were displaced 3 times in a row, the last of which was to Mawasi Khan Yunis. I created this link for our survival and resilience in Gaza. I graduated from the College of Nursing a year before the war, and I do not know what will happen to my dream and years of effort and study. All I know is that there is no future anymore. Everything has been completely destroyed.

After my family and I were displaced, the bombing became close to us and the army ordered us to leave Rafah

because it had become a dangerous combat zone

We gathered some of our important belongings and left Rafah for the crowded Mawasi of Khan Yunis.

This place became a refuge for us after we were displaced from Rafah. The summer heat here and the constant water shortages are indescribable. We have great difficulty getting water. We walk 3 km every day in the hot summer to get a few liters of water. It is not enough to meet our daily needs

This is my brother Ahmed. He is only seven years old. A month before the war. He began his educational career and started going to school. He was very happy. Ahmed dreamed of becoming a football player, but the war killed his dreams and destroyed his school and his educational career, which had not yet begun. His small body could not bear the war or displacement, and he began to lose a lot of weight
