Hello everyone, my name is Anabel Mendez-Liz. I am opening this fundraiser, to help my little sister. Her name is Mia Mendez she is 16 years old. Earlier this week my Dad called me to tell me that my little sister was admitted to the hospital for testing they were not sure what the issue was but to pray for her. My little brother later called and let me know that Mia had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Obviously we are all very worried as the situation has escalated quickly and without warning according to the most recent reports Mia will likely need a dialysis and well as blood transfusions and platelets donations. She lives in the Dominican Republic and as we well know cancer treatments are expensive and lengthy. I would like to support my family however I can since I am so far away from them at this time, any donations will go directly to support her in her journey. Any help is appreciated.
