My name is Maamoun, from Gaza. I am 32 years old. I graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. After I graduated, I worked with my father, who works in the field of upholstery and furniture in our showroom in Gaza.

With the start of the war and the first week, we had to go out to my sister’s house in Khan Yunis because the place in Gaza was dangerous. I took my car and my father’s car and we headed there for about two months until I lost my big brother, whom I lost in front of my sister’s house with my relatives. 7 I lost my brother and he left behind his wife and children, 5 and there is no one else to take care of them. After that, I headed to Rafah in a tent, and when they said that the situation was bad and that they would enter Rafah, I went to Khan Yunis again by the sea, and now I am sitting with my family in a tent with 15 people trying to live. We are a family of children.

I don't want to lose. I want to live a decent life. Don't children have the right to live in peace? There are basic needs for the family and there are patients who need treatment. My sister has 2 people who have lost their hearing and need treatment.

I went, despite the risks, to try to find any clothes in my sister's house, but we went there and found that all my cars had been destroyed, in addition to my beautiful house and the furniture store.

I am trying to collect the amount so that I can get my family out of Gaza, because we need an amount to leave Gaza, as the cost per person to leave is about 5 thousand dollars for each of the 6 individuals, so the total cost is 30 thousand dollars. As for the 9 children, they need two thousand five hundred dollars per person, for a total of two. Twenty thousand five hundred. I will send the money to my relative in Egypt so that he can get us out of Gaza.
