Emergency 911 Manure Spreader

Tax deductible
One of the critical pieces of equipment here at the sanctuary has broken. A manure spreader takes the manure from the barn out to the back of the property to be composted. Without it there is no easy way to clean the stalls and safely remove . Not a pretty situation. Unfortunately spreaders are big unwieldy pieces of farm equipment and are expensive to ship. There is a local farm dispersal auction happening 19 miles from us. We are hoping to secure a spreader there. Our current spreader is so old we have had no luck purchasing replacement parts. It will be dismantled and used as a trailer here on the farm. It just might work out. With a little luck... Here's our old gal that we had bought out of a local field. If you all remember Diane and I rebuilt the floor on this one. It is probably 60 years old now. It needs an entire rear assembly.
