Help Jodi Beat Cancer!

In April 2021, my amazing mom Jodi was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes. A tumor was also found in her brain. She quickly began radiation and chemotherapy a month later and is now about halfway through treatment.

Jodi has an incredible support system of family and friends who have stepped up to help her in her fight. Her husband Dave has been her rock, taking her to appointments and making sure she gets everything she needs. Friends and family have brought food and supplies, emotional support, hope, and most of all, have shown Jodi the love that has carried her through this first round of treatments.

Recently mom was admitted to the hospital where they found several blood clots in her lungs. She was monitored for a few days and they started her on a blood thinner in hopes that the blood clots will dissolve.

Jodi is in amazingly great spirits, feeling great most days, embracing the change, and pushing through to make the most of each and every day. Her grandkids have kept her smiling and are looking forward to sunny Summer days together with their Nana!
