Casey Stinson Medical Bills

Our friend and colleague Casey Stinson is sick and in need of help. 

What is wrong? 

Casey is having dibiltating health issues that have been on-going  for a few years.  He has hid the issues well from those around him and he tries to be strong but the issues had progressed to the point where he can't function in normal day to day activities. He needs our help to get back on his feet.

Recently Casey was laid off from his job (and health insurance) at Omni Barton Creek. Since he lost his job he has been trying find a new job but the health issues are preventing him from being able to successfully land anything.  He is experiencing chronic fatigue and severe cognitive decline which make interviews or doing work difficult to impossible. 

What is going on with his health? Why doesn't he just see a Doctor? 

Casey has been to many MDs trying to figure out what is going on with his health and none of them have been able to diagnose or treat him successfully.

Symptoms:
Slowing brain waves
Tremors/spasms
Severe cognitive impairment
Memory loss
Physical weakness
Light and sound sensitivity
Pain all over body

We don't want him to lose hope but he needs our help.

Monday, April 2nd, we took him to see a doctor that may be about to provide light at the end of the tunnel: Dr Ronald Manzanero.  

Dr. Manzanero graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1984 and completed his residency training in Family Medicine in 1990 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.   His interest in alternative holistic medicine began in his pre-med days in college.  Since becoming a medical doctor, Dr. Manzanero has spent many years studying nutrition, functional medicine, intravenous therapies, and completed a 4 year masters course in classical homeopathy.

Dr Manzanero understands the symptoms Casey is having as he also had similiar issues at one time. He feels that  Casey is able to be helped and can return to normal and go back to work just like he did. 

We were able to put together the money to visit Dr Manzanero but there are tests and treatments that Casey has to go through in order to restore his ability to function.  He will need some money to pay for those. He needs your help. 

Potential Diagnoses for Casey are:

Lyme Disease
Mold Poisoning
Mercury (or other heavy metal) Poisoning
Thyroid malfunction Other poisoning

None of these are good but most are treatable once we know what he has.

Again, now that he lost his job, Casey has no income (other than small unemployment check) and no insurance to cover the visits or tests.

We don't know what the total costs will ultimately be but we are asking for $10,000 now to help Casey pay for mainly for the medical bills in hope that he will be able to get better quickly and return to work soon. 
 
Casey is reluctant to ask for help which is why I am doing this for him. He can't do this alone.
