Ken Taylor Medical Fund

Early on the morning of February 19th my long time friend, former Rowlett Police officer, now with the Dallas County Sheriffs office, Ken Taylor got up to go to the bathroom. He tripped and fell into the bathtub, knocking himself out. In doing so, he turned on the hot water. By the time his wife MaryAnn Faulkner Taylor and son Blake found him, he was still unconscious and severely burned. I responded to this call and was the first to get to him. He was fading in and out of consciousness, but I got him to look at me and told him we were going to help him and I would not leave him. I rode in the ambulance with him and continued to talk with him, trying to cover his badly burned body the best we could. Ken has nearly 40 percent of his body with 2nd and 3rd degree burn. Now, his kidneys are starting to fail. He has a long road to recovery, so I am setting this account up with the blessings of his sweet wife. Please help if you can and send many prayers. He's in God's hands and the hands of these great doctors. I told my friend I would not leave him the other day, and I won't leave him now.
