Plea for help

My name Is Yasmine. I am from Glasgow, Scotland. I am married to Yasir Masood, and we have two beautiful daughters - Zoya,15 and Nawaal, 6.

Sadly, in January 2023 Yasir was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. A rare cancer of the bile duct which usually affects men over the age of 70. Yasir is in his early 40s.

Before this awful disease, he was fit and well and enjoyed life. He is a caring, kind, and loving husband and father.

On 15th March he underwent a major operation. To our dismay the surgeon was unable to do anything for him as the cancer had spread locally.

Yasir's Oncologist explained to us that by taking the route of Chemotherapy the chances of recovery were very slim and may prolong his life by maybe 3 months.

After discussing, reflecting, and much crying, we decided against chemotherapy. With a heavy heart we chose quality of life over quantity.

We did not give up hope. We sought advice around alternative therapies, looking at natural ways of boosting his immune system.

Through March to October there were highs and lows.

We were made aware of a doctor in Pakistan who may be able to help.

Yasir flew out to Pakistan and met with the specialist consultant who advised him the best option for him would be Dendritic Cell Therapy based on his current reports and scans.

Dendritic Cell Therapy boosts the immune system and does not kill good cells. You can continue doing day to day things without being more sick as it is with the effects of chemotherapy. This option gives the best chance of a good quality prolonged life.

We have been blessed enough to have raised £10,000. We still require £20,000 more.

Time is of the essence. We need to raise all the money before 16 January 2024.

I am making a heartfelt appeal to you to help raise this money to pay for the treatment.
