Heartworm Treatment
Tax deductible
IMPS (Internet Miniature Pinscher Service) for Northern California and Nevada has rescued three beautiful purebred Min Pins who are heart worm positive and need treatment.
Eight dogs were surrendered to the Tehema County Animal Shelter from a breeder. Five of the eight were heart worm positive. IMPS has found foster homes for five dogs, three of which need treatment. The shelter is financially unable to treat all the dogs and is overwhelmed with animals.
The cost of treating heart worm is as high as $1500 per dog and we desperately need your help. Without treatment these dogs will die a painful slow death as the worms infect their hearts and lungs. They will also be a vector for mosquitoes to infect other dogs that are not on preventative. We need to get these three dogs under treatment as soon as possible!
IMPS is a nationwide all volunteer charitable organization that is funded completely by donations. All of our rescues are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Our rescues live in our homes as part of our families. We know them, their quirks and personality traits. We do our best to place dogs in perfect forever homes for the cost of vetting and a small donation to our organization. With such a high cost for heart worm treatment we can not ask an adopter to pay that amount.
Please help us save these beautiful dogs. They are in trouble through no fault of their own. We promise to find them wonderful homes where they can live the rest of their lives being loved and cherished.
I am awful with the pictures so here are better ones!
