Stephanie Kane in Minnesota

A week is scheduled for Stephanie Kane to be in Minnesota beginning Saturday, March 15th!! Stephanie brings much joy and laughter into the world, and many people are looking forward to being with her while she is in Minnesota. To help with the costs of Stephanie being in Minnesota, Caring Circles LLC is requesting donations on Stephanie's behalf towards her expenses here. Caring Circles LLC is a Minnesota nonprofit limited liability company, and as such, all donations are tax exempt.
Some things are already falling in place, and people are stepping forward to help out, but two needs are urgent. One is for transportation expenses, and the other is to pay people to provide Stephanie's medical cares. A trip from Northfield to Omaha is about 350 miles, approximately six hours driving time, each way. That's about $65 in gas one way in the van. That does not take into account the recent exhaust system repair, renewing the registration tabs, or insurance. Caring Circles is setting the fundraising goal of $192 for transportation expenses, based on typical mileage reimbursement rates. The cost of caregivers is higher. Therese will be on duty on her own for 13 hours each day, from 7pm to 8am every day, which leaves 11 hours per day to cover. Taking into account partial days on each Saturday of the week, about 85 hours of caregiver time is needed. At $12 per hour, Caring Circles is setting the fundraising goal of $1,020 to pay people to provide Stephanie's medical cares. Total fundraising goal: $1,212.
