Support A Family in Their Time of Need

Hi my name is Jess and my family and I are in need of help. My father retired early due to chronic illness and disability in 2023. My mother, a cancer survivor, in 2024 found herself hospitalized and has spent the last few months in physical rehab relearning to walk and become independent when she caught COVID there setting her back weeks progress which she has never been able to get back up to since due to complications from it. My parents lost their insurance and we’ve been paying out all our savings but she’s now coming home on February 24 due to the lack of new improvements and also cost. Due to her condition she will be wheelchair and bed bound in a hospital bed. We have a very small house and it’s the only place the bed and wheelchair can fit. I also am a widowed mother to a toddler turning 3 in March. We are already very cramped and he will be losing his whole okay and learning area. I will be making the most of his small bedroom and putting most of our belongings in storage but the living room will not be safe for him to play and he will have no room on top of people coming in and out to help my mom. I work full time and my dad who watches him will be caregiving for my mom. We need help with 2 things. One, getting him into a safe environment that isn’t as detrimental to his development as he’s been showing signs of seve anxiety since my mother came home. Two, my car started to go so I used my own money I had saved towards the first goal to get a new one. Unfortunately I was badly scammed by a lowlife and her husband putting me out 2300+ registration/ insurance and a car still so I can continue to work and put more of what I make that isn’t going to food and bills towards the main goal.
