Zachary Scannell
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kevin Aishford and I was one of Zach’s colleagues at work.
On October 24th Zach was driving to his grandmother’s house and was involved in a motor vehicle accident that was sadly fatal. For anyone who knew Zach, knew what a great loving guy he was. If you talked to him and were able to make him laugh, that laugh was contagious. Zach will be missed at work very much, by very many of his colleagues, and also by his family, friends, and loved ones.
I am doing this in hope to help raise money for funeral cost, so his family can concentrate on what’s important. I have set the fund up and it will be open until Friday, November the 6th. Any donation would really mean a lot to me, and especially his family to help with these difficult times.
I would like to say thank you in advance, to everyone who has taken the time to read this and participate.
The following poem was written in loving memory of Zach.
I will try to explain what happened...
Because it happened in a flash,
I swear to you I was gone...
BEFORE that devastating crash
In the seconds right before...
I was bathed in brilliant light
And before the impact could happen...
I was lifted into flight
My soul has been released...
Before the damage had been done
You need to know this now...
My suffering was none
I was called before I was left...
I heard the whisper in my ear
I knew in that moment...
I had nothing more to fear
I left myself be taken...
To heavens sky I flew
I stopped only for a moment...
Because I thought of you
I knew that you would miss me, and you would be crying out my name
Believe me...
I AM with you...
And my heart ache is the same
I promise you I see you...
And i can feel you when you cry
I’ve counted every tear drop...
That has fallen from your eye
Yes life will be much different...
With me living up above
But death cannot take everything...
Especially my love
