So let's skip the sob story and move right to the meat of the matter...
I have been applying for jobs since last Thanksgiving with no luck... the corp jobs go to other candidates or get cancelled, the low end jobs all say I am overqualified. Either way...
The rent is due. We're teetering on the edge of losing our family vehicle. We're nearly out of dog food, gas and groceries. And even if a recruiter were to call me with an awesome job opportunity I don't have any clothes appropriate for the work I do. The light bill is 6 months past due.

We are in a world of hurt. My daughter (in the picture, ain't she awesome?) doesn't deserve to suffer because her dad can't figure out how to get out of this mess...
