Jenkins Family Fire & Funeral Fund

My parents tragically passed away in a house fire this March 18th, 2014, in Bucks County, Pa. Raymond and Caroline Jenkins had 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Another grandson was born just days after their passing and 1 day before their funeral. Even though the cost is difficult for all of us, my sister and I of us are financially unable to pay anything into the funeral costs, the interment costs, not too mention the costs involved in cleaning out the house- everything is either damaged by fire or smoke and water damaged. The cleanup required is incredible and we are trying to salvage what we can in order to cover the upcoming taxes. Also necessary is the gas and hotel costs for me to keep constantly driving the 269 miles round trip to the house in order to work on it and have somewhere to sleep and shower with my children. My sister and her husband have been at the house almost nonstop-at first sleeping there to stop intruders from robbing what's left, and now to get us ahead of any fines from the township. They are missing work and going without pay, literally surviving from the kindness of friends, but we have no other choice right now. I would love to be able to lift this financial burden from my siblings, but being a single parent makes all this seem overwhelming. I honestly do not know how much we are needing, but I trust God does. I know He has His hand in our tragedy and Mom & Dad are there with Him, and I am so grateful for the time we had with our parents.
