CANCER SUCKS

CANCER SUCKS, especially when it happens to someone u love & care about. Chef Rae is a loving, giving & beautiful lady. She has a husband, 4 beautiful and amazing kids unfortunately a few months back Rae found a lump just below her ear and it was hard and painful. With a full time job as chef at The Fat Radish, a full time mom, wife & care taker to her mom who suffers from Alzheimer’s; it wasn’t until this pandemic hit and she took the time to go to the doctor. It’s called MUCOEPIDERMOID CARCINOMA, (just an awful word to describe that Rae has cancer). It’s a slow growing mass that’s firm or hard, it causes numbness in part of ur face & usually target females between the age of 30-50. Surgery is scheduled for June 15, 2020. They will be removing the cancerous tumor   And her salivary gland. Although  Rae has insurance, she has to come up with $1,100.00 up front, or no surgery.  This reality is causing added unnecessary stress to an already extremely scary time in her life.
