willowburn hospice closure

willow burn is an invaluable local charity that offers exceptional palliative care to not just the patient but the family as a whole. the staff are the most dedicated team of nurses and auxiliaries i’ve met. 
i was mortified to hear yesterday they are soon closing due to staff shortages and severe lack of funding due to covid-19.
they have had to close their charity shops and also due to so many businesses closing they have lost their funding from these too. (to name a few sources)
they are currently caring for my mum in law, she is the only remaining patient and the team have pulled out all the stops to stay open for her as she is too poorly to be moved and we are so grateful to them and forever will be. 
the closure can’t be stopped but i’d love to be able to provide some funds for them to help a little towards them reopening when all of this has passed and their amazing team are all able to return to work. 
i get a lot of people are struggling financially at the moment and to coin the phrase ‘every little helps’ it does. 
I endeavour to become an active fundraiser for this charity in the future to pay there amazing support forward. 
This hospice is a vital local service that’s supported numerous families during their time of need and in my opinion it should be around for future families who may need it.
