The Melanie Hasson Scholarship

Melanie Hasson was a force of nature. She was compassionate, charming, and witty. It was impossible for people to not be drawn to her. Melanie put people at ease. Her optimism and warmth made it easy for people to open themselves up to her. Her belief in herself and everyone she met, and her ability to see everyone's potential, meant that she truly connected with others and made her an especially effective counselor. She loved everyone. She loved BIG. 

Melanie's impact through the friendships and bonds she forged, the beautiful son she was raising and the work she did to help her clients over the years, will forever leave an imprint on all of us. 

To honor Melanie and to continue her legacy of helping others, we are establishing the Melanie Hasson Scholarship Fund at Lincoln Memorial University.

It is our hope that her devotion and skill as a counselor will inspire others to pursue a career in counseling and leave a legacy for Melanie for future generations that continues beyond her lifetime. All money raised will go directly towards funding scholarships.  

Melanie's legacy and her mark on our lives, will live on in each of us.
