Urgent Appeal: Help Abeer's Family Evacuate Gaza

Hello Friends,

I come to you with a heavy heart, and so much devastation . We have been undergoing unspeakable suffering ever since this war started last October , leaving our lives in ruins.

I have exhausted all available solutions to evacuate my family from Gaza . The only option left for me is to start raising funds that can help with this crisis and I will explain why and how.

I am Abeer , a wife and a mother of three beautiful children. Hala (16 years old) , Leen and Layan –twins ( 12 years old ) . We are residing in the Gaza strip with my husband , Sameer and grandma Abla (85 years old).

Hala , my ambitious daughter whose dream of becoming an engineer was shattered due to the war.

My little daughters , leen and layan , suffered severe psychological trauma at the beginning of the war due to the loss of many of their friends , the bombing , destruction and displacement . I try to maintain their mental state by engaging them with drawing and painting so that they don’t get preoccupied with the news and the scenes being shown on the internet. But maintaining their mental state is not enough. I want to keep their life as well . I hope I can provide the life they dream of and the education they deserve .

My husband, Sameer , is an owner of training and publicity corporation . but unfortunately , it was completely destroyed , leaving him without aspirations or dreams , as it was his source of income.

Grandma , Abla , a patient with high blood pressure and diabetic . She needs continuous health care and support especially due to sever Alzheimer’s disease. She is also suffering from lack of food as a result of the bad situation in Gaza .

Our one peaceful life has been shattered by the horrors of war , leaving us with nothing but despair and uncertainty . Unfortunately , our new living situation is a stark contrast to what it used to be.

Why We Need Your Support :

We are currently located in north Gaza inhuman conditions , with no access to clean drinking water , electricity , food ,cooking gas and schools for our children . My family and I displaced countless times and forced to leave our house in Al-Remal neighborhood under the constant bombardment , walking without carrying our personal belongings, our clothes or even money in search of a safe place.

The circle of suffering did not end here cause after more than 8 times of being displaced, we found that our house almost wiped off and became an unlivable place to stay in.

The situation in Gaza is dire. We are struggling to stay alive due to the indiscriminate bombing that we live under ,and we are unable to secure our basic needs of food and water every day cause of the deliberate starvation inflicted on us , the financial strain , soaring prices ,and scarcity of essentials.

All I yearn for is to give my children a chance at a life free from fear and suffering. I dream of seeing them grow up healthy , happy, and safe , away from the violence and turmoil that plagues our homeland. But to make this dream a reality I need your help .

Here is how money will be spent:

• paying around 5000$ per person to cross Raffah borders and get safely to Egypt. Totaling $30,000 for six ones.

•  Additionally, the costs of relocation, including travel expenses, temporary housing, and resettlement. We estimate that we will need a total of $30,000 to safely evacuate our family from Gaza and start anew in a safer environment for a period of time in Egypt

•  Around 4000$ covering GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + 0.30$ per transaction)

•  The rest of the money will be spent for some courses, education of my daughters & etc.
