In a world where bombs replace raindrops and the roar of warplanes replaces lullabies, my children, Yafa (5) and Fahd (7 months), face a harsh reality in Gaza. Born amidst conflict, they know only destruction. I, Mohammed, their father, carry the weight of securing a brighter future for them. War has stripped us of jobs, homes, and hope. We now reside in makeshift tents, clinging to survival in this besieged land. Yet, amidst despair, my wife's pregnancy offers a glimmer of hope.

Yafa urgently requires facial surgery to restore her smile, a costly procedure unavailable in Gaza. Friends in Egypt offer us a chance to escape, but the border demands $8,000 per person for passage, in addition to the surgery costs. I implore you, do not let my children perish in this war.
