Angel's Cancer Journey

Hi my name is Ashley Verna! This sweet boy and his family started out as clients of mine and following we became wonderful friends. Angel completely stole my heart and his story has forever changed me; it is now one of my missions to do what God put us on earth for: to disciple and help others. Angel's joy should be an example to us all to show gratitude for simply being alive and healthy. He endures more pain than most of us will EVER experience in our lifetime. His condition comes with hefty medical bills and many unpaid days taken off by his Grandmother, Stacia Richardson, who is raising him. Let's rally as a community to help sweet Angel until he receives his miracle! Please continue to pray for healing in his little body! Here is his story!

He was born with chromosome 17q12 deletion, which caused him multiple heart defects. He had his heart completely rebuilt at just three days old. It also caused him polycystic kidney disease. We knew he would need a transplant around his teen years. Once diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, we were told he would need a new kidney much sooner. However, he is not eligible until he is five years cancer free. He is newly diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and cystic fibrosis on top of his broken heart and kidneys and relapsed stage 4 cancer. He is definitely a walking miracle just for the fact that he's made it to 5 years old.Thank you so much for your, love, prayers and support!
