The Hebert Family

Hello everyone! Family, Friends, Co-Workers,

We are asking for help to relieve the Hebert family from financial distress as all of their time and energy will be spent on healing their son, Lucas. Lucas was admitted to the hospital Tuesday for a routine procedure after a tumultuous 5 months, which turned into emergency surgery hours after being released from the hospital. Lucas is currently in ICU and is expected to be there through the holidays, if not longer as doctors are still evaluating Lucas's condition. This poor little boy has endured so much already in his 17 months of being born.

The holidays are meant to be spent with friends and family. Shelby and Jason's family do not live in Florida so it's difficult for them to navigate child care for Leah, their 4-year-old daughter. As the hospital allows only 2 visitors at a time, they are unable to be together as a family on, Christmas. As you can imagine, explaining to a 4-year-old why your brother and parents won't be home on Christmas morning when Santa arrives is not an easy conversation.
