Peter Detoffoli's Daughters College Fund

We started this GoFundMe for our trusted friend and colleague, Peter Detoffoli, who tragically passed away in a car accident on November 4th, 2022. He was a valued and well-respected member of our film crew.

Peter was working as a Teamster on the set of Starship Troopers twenty-six years ago in Casper, Wyoming when he met the love of his life and future wife, Versa. They nurtured a long-distance relationship for a while before Versa moved to LA to build a future with Peter. They married in 2003 and brought two beautiful daughters into the world, Emily (16) and Hayden (14).

Peter was an honored member of the Teamster community and was a mentor to many members over the years. He had the talent to fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a strong work ethic and dedication to his craft but an even deeper love and devotion for his family and his two daughters who were his world. Peter strived to give them everything.

His dream was to set his daughters up for a life of success and happiness. We would like to honor Peter's legacy by creating a college fund for Emily and Hayden.
