Help our Mom with Medical Expenses

Hello, we are the daughters of Kim Downes and we are asking for help with the portions of medical bills and upcoming surgeries that her insurance won't cover. In May of 2023, after multiple doctor's appointments, specialist appointments, ultrasounds, and a biopsy, our mom was diagnosed with a 6cm tumor in her parotid gland. During this time, the specialist decided he wanted a CT scan with contrast taken before the scheduled surgery because the tumor is so large and is sitting on many important facial nerves that could be damaged and cause facial paralysis. Unfortunately, the results of the CT scan also found a 3.8cm nodule on her thyroid gland which will also need to be biopsied. At this point, she is waiting to have the biopsy for the thyroid and the lengthy surgery for the tumor on her parotid gland is scheduled for August 21st wherein she will need to come up with $2,000 to cover her portion before she can have the surgery.
