Donate in memory of Amaya

This page has been created in memory of Amaya Loren Williams-Shaw, who passed away following a brief battle with a rare type of mixed leukaemia. Due to its rarity, there is limited information in the medical field about mixed leukaemia, making it a complex illness to treat. Amaya's passing has shocked a multitude of people who knew her, and even some who did not.

Many people have asked how they can support the family during this time. With the blessing of Amaya’s family, we are collecting donations to support medical research currently being commissioned by Birmingham University, which Amaya was due to be part of, to learn more about mixed types of leukaemia. It is Amaya’s family's wish to do what they can to prevent another family from experiencing this terrible loss and to do something special with Amaya’s brothers, Kian and Ravell, where they can remember and honour Amaya

She was a beautiful, talented girl, only 8 years old and was loved by all who were fortunate to know her. She was popular at school, beloved by her cheer academy, and cherished among her family and friends. Amaya’s family would like to thank everyone for their donations, kind words, and support during this difficult time.
