Zero’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Friday, 7/8 Zero was giving my nephew his first motorcycle ride when a car turned in front of them in while they were going through an intersection just a few blocks away from their destination. My nephew walked away with some deep bruising and some scrapes (thankfully no broken bones). Unfortunately Zero sustained very severe injuries such as a fractured left humerus, fractured left clavicle, a fractured right wrist, a fractured T8 in his spine, bruised lungs, multiple facial fractures, facial lacerations, and brain bleeding. He was care flighted to Reno where he was placed in the ICU. On Saturday 7/9, he underwent orthopedic surgery to repair his left arm. His right wrist will remain in a cast. We are hoping to not need surgery to repair his facial fractures or his spine. At this point he will be in a back brace and two arm casts, with a good amount of stitches in his face.
We are asking for assistance with medical bills, and assistance as this will put him out of work and myself out of work to assist him as we transition into this new chapter in life.
Thank you to all family, friends, and loved ones for any donations and assistance. You are all so very appreciated!
