Please help Lyra

UPDATE: Lyra went to the vet today for her check up. Her eye is progressively getting worse as we wait for the funds. We scheduled surgery for next Thursday, but due to our financial situation we will have to cancel if we are unable to raise them. Please say a prayer for our sweet girl, that we are able to move forward with surgery as planned.

This sweet Maine Coon mix came into our county shelter on Saturday. She is about 10 weeks old and going to have what is left of her eye removed.

We have seen way too many medical cases this year and it is not even June. Our medical funds are depleted to the point we need to raise funds before we can get her eye surgery so we are asking for your help.

We have decided to name her Lyra which means brave. Thanks to all of you that have donated in the past and those of you will donate to help Lyra.
