Brooklyn College MFA Acting Showcase 2022

Hello Everyone!

Camila, Celeste, Estelle, Lucas, Rebecca, and Yair here!

 

We are the Brooklyn College MFA actors, Class of 2022!

 

Like many other students around the world, we have been lovingly referred to as one of the COVID classes, who spent the first full year of our two-year training program on Zoom (memories LOL).

 

Despite the obvious challenges, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to grow in our craft and sharpen our artistic skills. We learned how to adapt to the changing circumstances as both artists and people, and how to use our time together more efficiently. With the dedication of our incredible faculty, we have all come out stronger because of it--and now we are finally nearing the finish line!

 

Now we need your help in fundraising our virtual Spring Showcase, which we are planning to launch between March and April of 2022!

 

For the showcase, we will be professionally filming theatrical scenes as well as TV/Film reels that highlight our individual strengths as artists. We will also be creating a website to broadcast our work to industry professionals, including prospective agents and managers. Together, these two components serve as our official introduction to the film, television, and theater industries, as well as the culmination of two years of rigorous study and practice.

 

All of your generous donations will be funding the following:

• Production costs (This includes filming equipment, editing, and potential location fees): $5,000

• Professional Headshots: $3,000

 

We know that the last two years have been especially difficult for all of us, and appreciate any way that you can support our campaign--any size donation helps!
