Help Karen Fight!!

I never thought I would be typing this nor asking anyone for help but here we go….

My name is Emma and my mum Karen was diagnosed on September 2nd, 2022 with stage 4 Gastric Adenocarcinoma with signet form cells, that has spread to lymph nodes and they think the peritoneum. This is a very aggressive cancer and her current oncologist says she is not a candidate for surgery and it is not curable.

As a family we are not prepared to accept that!! We are researching and contacting oncologists in different countries for 2nd opinions. If we can find a surgeon to give her a chance then maybe she can survive this awful disease.

Many of you that read this will know our family and know that we never ask for help from anyone, and to bring ourselves to ask for help is very difficult, but here we are desperate and not willing to give up!!

Many of you will know my mum and know just how beautiful, kind and funny she is.

Fighting this awful disease comes a financial burden on us all, if we can raise enough funds to ease that burden then it will help my family immensely.

Mum is going to need things to help her with comfort, we will have costs for 2nd opinions and with that comes travel costs. We hope to find a surgeon that would operate this will be extremely expensive.

We will never give up until we have exhausted every avenue!
