The Jimmy Francia Foundation

This GoFundMe has been created in honor of Jimmy Francia, owner of Francias Formal Affair in Mobile, Alabama. The Francia Family has been serving the Mobile Community for over 40 years and many of us in the city have stories and experiences about being a friend or customer of Francias. Jimmy's dedication to his family, his business, his friends and his customers shined in a way that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Jimmy was an incredible person and he loved his family and friends. He had a gift of making everyone feel special and his contributions to the community in sports, business and philanthropy are only a brush stroke on the canvas of the impact he made in so many peoples lives. There's not enough room to list his accomplishments or how many people loved Jimmy Francia. Just know that he lived to make people happy and that's exactly what he did, every day he took a breath on this earth. Jimmy was an Angel and he will be missed.
The family has established this GoFundMe for the purpose of starting the Jimmy Francia Foundation, which will be a non profit organization that will raise money to carry Jimmy's Legacy forward in the sports and fitness community working with youth, as well as assisting small businesses in need during difficult times. Jimmy exemplified a small business owner and mentored many business owners and friends in the community.  He simply loved helping others succeed. Jimmy's involvement in coaching baseball and working with youth has inspired and impacted so many that we would establish an ongoing Foundation that will continue Jimmy's Legacy by supporting youth in sports and small business owners in need. That's what Jimmy always wanted, to help people, and he did. And through this Foundation, the friends and family of Jimmy Francia will work to continue making a difference in Jimmy's Honor.
