In memory of my beloved son, Austin Jenkins, I am embarking on a heartfelt mission to raise funds for a meaningful cause. I am organizing a fundraiser for a retreat where we will provide essential coping skills, nourishing meals, and self-care activities for grieving mothers who have lost their precious children. I plan to travel and visit different states, sharing my personal grief journey with local communities and how I have found solace through faith. This will also allow me to reach out to each community for support and plan appropriately for the need in that area.

This initiative will culminate in a two-day retreat, which will be held wherever the need arises. During this retreat, grieving mothers will have a safe place to gather, find support, and embark on a healing journey. By contributing to this fundraiser, you will not only help provide much-needed resources but also enable me to reach out to countless women, offering them comfort, understanding, and hope.

Your generous contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of grieving mothers, empowering them to cope with their loss and find strength in their faith so that they can return home with new hope to share with their loved ones. Together, we can create a supportive community that uplifts and embraces those who are navigating the difficult path of grief. In addition to providing support for grieving mothers, this fundraiser will also contribute to the well-being of siblings and spouses who have endured the immense trauma of losing a loved one. It is well-known that the devastating loss of someone so precious can deeply impact the entire family unit. Through our collective healing journeys, my mission is to help preserve the strength and unity of these families through scholarships for siblings left behind and family counseling, along with three YAHS retreats per year.

The name "Yesterday~Ago" holds special significance in this mission. It originates from a heartwarming memory of my youngest son, Denver, when he was just a toddler. It was one of his endearing words that has forever stayed with me. Denver himself was also involved in the tragic accident that took Austin's life. We came close to losing both of our beloved boys that night, and it is truly a miracle that Denver is still with us today. Reflecting on this profound experience, the name "Yesterday~Ago" feels incredibly fitting for the title of this mission.

"Yesterday~Ago" encapsulates the essence of cherishing the past, embracing the present, and forging a path towards healing and hope for the future. By supporting this cause, you will not only be providing vital assistance to grieving mothers but also offering solace and support to the entire family unit.
