Help Josh off Life Support

Donation protected
On Saturday, May 14th, my cousin Josh was rushed to the emergency room in Sacramento and has since been transferred to Santa Clara, where he is currently on life support.

Josh's oxygen levels dropped to the 30s when the doctors put Josh into a medically induced coma and transferred him into the ICU. Later that evening, Josh went into severe heart failure. The doctors in Sacramento tried several times to transport Josh to Santa Clara, where they had all of the medical equipment Josh needed to live. Josh's condition was so critical that they could not transport him, even by airlift. After numerous attempts, the cardiologist team from Santa Clara flew in with the equipment needed for Josh to help stabilize him, perform heart surgery, and put him on ECMO.

If matters couldn't be worse, my aunt Debi, Josh's mother, had an aggressive breast cancer surgery three weeks prior. Debi has been off work for three weeks to focus on her cancer recovery. Debi is not allowed to lift any items, open car doors, or elevate her heart rate, as the doctors need Debi to heal quickly to start her radiation treatment. Josh was a tremendous asset to Debi's recovery, ensuring that she was hydrated, eating healthy, and resting. Josh loves to joke around with his mom and constantly spreads positive energy and the importance of enjoying every little thing in life.

At this time, Josh's family lives in a hotel near the hospital. Their home is 2 hours away, and they need to be near Josh's side throughout his journey to recovery. We ask for any amount you can donate to help cover their growing medical expenses between Josh and Debi and their hotel and food costs as Santa Clara County and being near the hospital is extremely expensive.

Any amount will help Josh's family as both Josh and Debi have a long road of recovery ahead and growing medical costs.

Please keep Josh and his family in your prayers.
