Alexander Lloyd Pinto

Donation protected
My sister Elizabeth Lloyd Pinto has just lost her son at the age of 16, to a horrible disease Dyskeratosis Congenita. Alexander was diagnosed at the age of three, and received a bone marrow transplant when he was 8. He fought through everyday to keep a smile on his face. Alex spent most of his life going to and staying at hospitals all over the Northeast. He had been waiting for a liver transplant up to the day his body couldn't fight anymore.  Alex's Mother Elizabeth was by his side every minute of everyday.  Elizabeth has donated Alex's organs to the National Institute of Health, in hope to save other children from this horrific disease. With this being said, Elizabeth has been overwhelmed with funeral and medical expenses.
My Sister Elizabeth wants to continue her education that came to an abrupt end when constant care for her son came first.
If we could all come together to help financially, I know she will give back by being a fantastic nurse and supporter of the NIH research specifically targeted to a cure for Dyskeratosis Congenita. Thank you for your support
