Helping Macy

if you know macy, you know she is the kindest, sweetest and most loving dog on this earth. very kind. she is absolutely amazing with my 3 small children. ive had her since i was 15 and she has grown into the best example of a family dog anyone could ask for. she gives the “pitbull” name a different meaning. she doesnt have one mean bone in her body.

unforchunately today, macy was attacked by another dog. she tried and she tried and she tried to stand her ground, but physically could not and gave up. i tried to pull her off the other dog until i was out of breath but the other dog was too strong for me. she needs stitches all over her body, and her front left leg needs to be amputated.

woburn vet hospital quoted us at $3,500 before amputation. this is just for her stitches and anti-biotics, and we know this number is just going to continue to rise. she is was put under as soon as she was rushed into the emergency room so she would stop suffering from the pain.

now - if you know me, i have never asked for a dime from anyone. we are asking anyone that can possibly help, we would be forever grateful. we understand this is a horrible time in the world and a let to ask, but anything will help our family. i appreciate each and everyone of you more than youll ever know.
